Workforce Mobile users view their schedule and all scheduled events, such as time-off, overtime, training and court, using iOS or Android mobile devices. Users can enter leave, overtime, and shift swap requests, view and sign up for off-duty events or volunteer for ad hoc overtime assignments. Agency announcements can be view, timesheets routed for approval, and so much more.
Court notifications can be received and acknowledged in real-time. What’s more, officers can conveniently check into and out of court using the mobile app’s geofencing capabilities.
But what about supervisors? Glad you asked. They can quickly search for and call other employees to backfill vacancies. Employee time off, overtime and swap requests and timesheets can be reviewed and responded to in real-time. It’s the ideal app for supporting today’s modern public safety personnel.
Each mobile solution uses Microsoft Azure Government services, but does not house any personnel data in the cloud. Service bus technology is leveraged for data flow without storage. This improves user speed of data return and removes security risks of storage outside the confines of the agency’s premise.
The Workforce Mobile app can be downloaded through iTunes and Google Play Station. Usage authorization is controlled by authorized agency personnel. This allows administrators to add, remove and/or returned personnel to mobile usage throughout their career.
